The bride's surname is written differently in the couple's children's baptisms: Voigts or Vogts (1764, 390647 Bild 167), Voges (1766–1783, 390648; Paul read Voges in the 1780 entry, Bild 81). Recheck "Vogts" in this entry against the image.

Her origin: this entry says "aus Siekwitte" (wedding at "Siekmarsch"); the baptisms of 1764 and 1775 call her "aus Dielmissen", and a godmother of 1769 is from Dielmissen. Both place readings in this entry should be rechecked; neither Siekwitte nor Siekmarsch has been identified as a place.

The groom is probably a son of Franz (Frant) Brand, Halbmeier at Linse: his brother Jo. Jürgen Brand ("Frant Brands filius", married 1766) is named "patruus infantis" at the 1769 baptism of his daughter. Probable.

Translation (English)

On 28 April [1763] Jo. Christoph Brand of Linse was married to Anne Cath. Vogts of Dielmissen, at Dielmissen.

Bild 49, left page (old p. 96, "Copulati 1763"), first entry; every word read at zoom. The image has Dielmissen twice (origin and wedding place) and no "Siekwitte" or "Siekmarsch": those earlier readings are withdrawn. With the 1764, 1769 and 1775 entries, Dielmissen is PROVEN as her origin. Grade: STATED (all words legible).

Note 20 October 2026: the bride's own parish register holds the same marriage (Dielmissen 390592, Bild 15, viewer value 14): "Johann Christoph Brand, Halbmeyer in Linse, mit Anna Catharina Voigts, des Gross-köthers Christian Voigts Tochter" (block Marriage_Record_Johann_Christoph_Brand_Anna_Catharina_Voigts_Dielmissen_1763_Archion_390592_Bild_15).
