Translation (English)

On the 28th of April [1763], Johann Christoph Brand, half-farmer (Halbmeier) at Linse, with Anna Catharina Voigts, daughter of the Großköther (large cottager) Christian Voigts.

Notes

The bride's own parish names her father: Christian Voigts. "Gross-" is clear; "köthers" is read at this zoom, not at the image's limit (PROBABLE); "Halbmeyer" PROBABLE. No place word for the bride or her father (the register's own parish by default) and no "weiland" before the father: alive in April 1763 (PROBABLE). The Halle entry of the same marriage (390646, Bild 49) writes "Vogts aus Dielmissen"; the children's baptisms write Voigts, Vogts and Voges. One marriage (names, date, place agree). Christian Voigts is George's 2x great-grandfather (STATED by this entry with F177 and F291). Grade: STATED (names, date, the father); the status words PROBABLE.
