10\. Sixteenth Sunday after Trinity [7 October 1764]: the wife of Hans Christian Voigts, M[agdalena?] Anne Kunemann, aged 63 years.
Notes
Born about 1701. The Sunday is 7 October 1764 by computation (Easter 22 April 1764); the entry gives no separate death date, no status word, no village. "Kunemanns" is the clerk's maiden-name form (PROBABLE); Kunemann is a Dielmissen surname of 1751–1758. That Hans Christian Voigts is the Großköther Christian Voigts of the 1763 marriage: POSSIBLE (surname, forename Christian, parish and her age, about 39 at a birth about 1740, fit; nothing links the bride to the couple). If so she is George's 2x great-grandmother (POSSIBLE). The B3.16f skim missed this entry; the re-read corrects it. Grade: STATED (surname and forenames, read twice); the maiden name PROBABLE.
