Staatsverband entlassen, ausgewandert nach Philadelphia (Nordamerika))." Above it an entry for a child "Theodor August, geb. 18. Nov. 1893, gest. 24. Nov. 1893" in the household of a father "Jacob Friedrich Haab, B. u. Schmiedmeister in Ochsenbach?" and "Elisabetha, g. Fränzen?" (reading doubtful; the dates cannot belong to that household and are probably a misreading; not used).

English translation

Johann Weiss, born Ochsenburg 22 May 1825, son of Johann Friedrich Weiss and Margarethe née Schüle, married (I) 16 Nov 1851 Auguste Charlotte Haidle (b. 9 Nov 1829, d. 11 Mar 1859; daughter of Johann Georg Haidle and Catharina née Schmid) and (II) 1862 Friederike (b. 1826, d. Ochsenburg 8 Jan 1899). Seventeen child slots; first marriage six births, with Caroline Auguste (b. 1857) and Christian Friedrich (b. 1858) marked as emigrated to America.

Re-read (WE3.4c):

Johann Weiss, b. 22 May 1825, d. March 1891, married 1. Auguste Charlotte Haidle (b. 9 Nov 1829, d. 11 Mar 1859), a widow of [..] Reichert, and 2. Friederike Haab (b. Kleingartach 7 July 1836, d. Ochsenburg 8 June 1899). Caroline Auguste is the fourth child of the first marriage. At least two children left for Philadelphia, in 1889 and in 1893.

Re-read (WE3.4g):

Two children of the first marriage, Caroline Auguste (b. 1857) and Christian Friedrich (b. 1858), carry the note "America". A child born 1867 or 1868 left for Philadelphia on 19 August 1889 (the notes straddle two rows). A child born about 1879 (confirmed 1893) was released from Württemberg citizenship on 27 May 1893 to emigrate to Philadelphia. The two eldest children of the first marriage died in May 1856. Friederike Katharine (b. 1864) married on 23 July 1891 and moved to Dürrbach.

Re-read (WE3.4m1, WE3.4m2, 26 October 2026):

Child 11, Johanna Katharina (b. 17 June 1868), and child 12, Rosina Sophia (b. 18 August 1869). One daughter married at Pfaffenhofen on 6 February 1902 Ludwig Dürst, farmer there; the other "went to (emigrated to) Philadelphia on 19 August 1889". By the vertical position of the notes (not boxed to a row), the Pfaffenhofen marriage belongs to Johanna Katharina and the Philadelphia emigration to Rosina Sophia (PROBABLE). August Wilhelm, born 7 August 1879, was released from the Württemberg state union on 27 May 1893 and emigrated to Philadelphia.

Notes. The re-reads govern where they differ from the first read: Friederike born at Kleingartach 7 July 1836 (not Ochsenburg 1826), died 8 June 1899 (not January), Johann Weiss died March 1891. The Philadelphia notes straddle rows 10-11 and the last rows; their assignment to a named child is POSSIBLE. The 1891 son-in-law and destination differ between the two reads (Germann/Zuffenhausen; Gernau or Dreistel/Dürrbach): not settled.
