Translation (English)
The Linse householders who paid the Halle school (money): Entzhof, Valkorst, Schrader, Hermann Dagebiel, Rick[erken?], [Linke?], Falke the shoemaker, Bettermann the innkeeper. Rye from Linse: Johann Hermann Falke, Johann Dagebiel, Henrich Hermann Dagebiel, Franz Henrich Brand, "Andreas Rudolph Linnenberg, a miller," and "the tenant of the Mittelmühle"; the same seven in the Christmas sausage-and-bread list. Linse is bound to the Halle school by the Consistory's decree of 6 October 1742; "this village has 15 hearths." In the Halle lists Johann Hermann Brand, formerly [Falke?], innkeeper, and Hans Jacob Brand; at Dohnsen Johann Henrich Sporleder.
Notes
Linnenberg as the Linse miller of 1752 (F287): PROBABLE; the Mittelmühle's tenant in 1753 a second man, unnamed. The digit "15" is doubtful; Halle "40 und etliche," Tuchtfeld 12 on the same page. Grade: STATED (church inventory).
