The record

[The inn's name not read. The bride's first name "Eva" or "Anna" (a large flourish). "Fickentscher" written twice, once struck out. "Eckardt" doubtful.] The text after "und der ... Wittwe" (a line naming "Joh. Christoph Hau[?]d[?] ... allhier" and "ältern Stief[sohn?]", which seems to make Christian the elder stepson of a Johann Christoph [surname not read]) is UNVERIFIED: not fully read on the image.

English translation

Christian Knoll, citizen and master butcher, also innkeeper at the [Red / Yellow ...] [?], elder surviving son of the late innkeeper and master butcher Eckardt [doubtful] Knoll, ... was married to the maiden Eva [?] Barbara Fickentscher, only daughter of the master painter Johann Nicol Fickentscher of Oberkotzau, single, after a most gracious dispensation without proclamation, on 21 February, Invocavit Sunday, early before the service. [A further line, apparently naming him the elder stepson of a Johann Christoph (surname not read): UNVERIFIED.]

Notes

Earlier readings "Anna Barbara Fi[..]" and "after proclamation" were corrected on the re-read. Not the tailor Christian David Knoll, whose wife in 1790–1798 was Maria Catharina of Schwarzenbach an der Saale: carried as two men. Kinship to the tailor's family: POSSIBLE (Georg's trade of butcher and "Herberger" in 1830 matches; reasoning only). No other Knoll entry in the first lines of October 1784 – March 1791 (Bild 100–112; body lines not all read). Image to save: Bild 109, right page, no. 1 (1790).

Re-read 27 October 2026 (\`10272026-Findings.md\`, step KN3.3f-8b, KN3.3f-8b-1)

The stepson line, UNVERIFIED before, is now read except the surname; the bride's forename reads Anna here against "Eva [?]" (equal tier, collateral: Eva [?] kept, Anna logged as an alternative; F251).
