Translation (English)
Groom: Conrad Friedrich Wilhelm Fricke, born at Ober-Börry 26 December 1845, farm servant at Latferde, son of the late cottager Heinrich Fricke of Börry and Karoline née Lange. Bride: Minna Dorette Friederike Brand, born at Halle 9 May 1849, maidservant at Börry, daughter of the missing (verschollen) former master baker[?] of Halle Friedrich August Heinrich Christoph Brand and his late wife Hanne Sophie Caroline née Koppel. Banns 19 and 26 April at Börry; married 26 April 1874 at Halle.
Notes
The mother's surname, first read K[oppel?], is Koppel (clear in her sister's marriage, 1875, Bild 47).
"Verschollen": the father's whereabouts unknown in 1874, often a man gone overseas. Worth remembering if a Brand turns up in an emigration index; not a lead for the Linse household. Household key B-4.
Readings to check: the father's trade (Bäcker- probable).
Grade: Stated. Cleared for the Linse Brand line; Appendix C.
