Translation: Linse, 29 December 1813, 3 p.m.: a son born to Heinrich Brand senior; mother Christiane Grupen of Lürdissen, aged 25. Six godparents: Carl Becker of Dielmissen; Carl Grupe of Eschershausen; Heinrich Möller of the same place; Christian Brand, [Halbmeier?], Linse; Christian Wetken, [place partly read]; Grupe's wife, Lürdissen. Baptized 1 January 1814. Named Carl Friederich Wilhelm.
What changed: Settles the earlier readings: a son, Carl Friederich Wilhelm (not a daughter); 3 p.m. (not 1 p.m.); six godparents (not four). The father is "Senior," not "jun." The 1810 entry also has "senior," so the label is consistent across both entries.
Earlier reading, kept for the record:
Image 144 (written pages 280–281, "1813"→"1814") — priority hits only — MAJOR page
Entry 36 — Priority 6 hit, MAJOR, Standing Rule 1. Village: Linse, 29 December, nachmittags 1 Uhr. Father: Heinrich Brand, jun. ("junior") — a daughter born. Mother: Christiane Grupen(?), of Lardissen(?), alt 25 Jahr. Godparents: Heinrich Möller; Christian Brand, of Linse; Christian Weiker(?), of Hoyer(?); Grupen's wife, of Lardissen. Baptized 1(?) January 1814.
— The "jun." (junior) designation is a genuinely new and useful data point: it implies a "Heinrich Brand sen." also existed at Linse — quite possibly the household head already tracked as Heinrich Christian Brand (Image 129 Entry 20, also married to a Sporleder at Linse) or a separate elder Heinrich. Worth flagging a striking coincidence: the wife here, "Christiane Grupen of Lardissen," shares her given name, maiden name, and home village exactly with the wife recorded for Heinrich Christoph Brunig at Linse two years earlier (Image 122 Entry 34, "Christiane Grupen, of Lardessen/Lurdissen, alt 23 Jahr" in 1811, would be about 25 by late 1813) — this may be the SAME woman, meaning either a scribal inconsistency between "Brunig" and "Brand" as her husband's surname across two entries, or she remarried a second Linse man of a different family within about two years. Recommend checking both entries against the original leaves if the Brunig/Brand distinction at Linse needs to be pinned down precisely.
