The record

Landeskirchliches Archiv der Evang.-luth. Landeskirche Hannovers, Kirchenkreis Bodenwerder, Linse, Kirchenbuch 1815-1853, Bild 6 (archion.de).

Only entries involving the Wesemann/Wasmann surname are included below. Uncertain readings are marked (?).

German

Taufzeugen: Anton(?) Friedrich Halbrodt, Mühlermeister in Linse; Christian Hasenjäger(?), auch Müllermeister in Bergfelden(?); Louise Bernd geb. Was[mann](?); [ihre?] Wittwe[r?] als Zuchtgärtner(?) in Landerwerder(?); der Ehewirth(?) Wildbrandt, Ehefrau Amalie geb. Küster(?).

English

3\. Father: Georg Ludewig Waßmann, mill-master (Mühlenmeister). Mother: Justine Marie née Küster, age 38. Born: the twenty-third of February(?). Baptized: March. Child: Dorothea Louise Friedericke. Godparents: Anton(?) Friedrich Halbrodt, mill-master in Linse; Christian Hasenjäger(?), also mill-master in Bergfelden(?); Louise Bernd, née Was[mann](?) — a probable additional Wesemann/Wasmann family connection; [her?] [word unclear], a market-gardener(?) in Landerwerder(?); the [husband(?)] Wildbrandt, wife Amalie née Küster(?).

Correction on re-check: the godparent reading is substantially revised — most notably a likely "Louise Bernd, née Was[mann]" among the godparents, and "Amalie geb. Küster" (not "Thiessen") for the last name listed. Note also: this scan's left edge does not fully capture the parents' column, so the father/mother names and the mother's age and the birth date could not be independently re-verified against this image and are carried forward as previously transcribed.

Why this matters, in order:\\

1\. Priority 1 — another confirmed Waßmann entry, this time the head of household himself, not a variant reading.

2\. Priority 4 — "Anton(?) Friedrich Halbrodt, Mühlenmeister in Linse," 1817. Your brief states nothing earlier than two 1838 entries is established for when Halbrodt first appears at Linse with a milling title. This pushes that back at least 21 years, to 1817.\\

3\. Priority 6 — this is almost certainly the "Dorothea Luise Friederike, born 23 February 1817" entry your chapter already cites as "Linse KB 01, Jg. 1817, S. 6, Nr. 3." Written page 6, entry Nr. 3, year 1817 — the citation matches exactly, on all three points. The discrepancy your brief flags (the index apparently giving a birth page in the 50s) looks like an index error, not a citation error — the entry itself sits exactly where the chapter says it does. Godparent list is the target for Priority 6's "who this household associated with" question — no Kra- surname appears in it on this pass, but the block has unresolved names, so that's not a clean negative yet.

Downloaded this page as a PDF (querformat) per your instruction, for both the Waßmann and Halbrodt entries.
