Transcription
(doubtful words in [brackets]):
Film 05004/01, viewer page 65 (label "Dec. 1824 to Feb. 1825"), left page: "Daniel Buckley & Honora Dinane. Pres[ent] Pat Dinane & Darby Buckley". The row above reads "Daniel Scully & Mary McCarthy. Pres[ent] Denis Callaghan & Dan[ie]l Healy" with the day "6"; the row below reads "Edmond Murphy & Eliza Healy" with the day "8". The Buckley row's day column shows only a part of a ditto-like mark ("[?]o"), so the date is probably 6 January 1825 (month taken from the page label and the neighboring rows).
The same spread: "Michael Hanlon & Mary Helon. Pres[ent] John Hanlon & Wm Helon" (January 1825). Page 63 (February 1823): "Jeremiah Hanlon & [—] Hanlon. Pres[ent] John & Denis Hanlon" and "Daniel Looney & Ellen Hanlon".
Pages 62 to 66 show many Buckley witnesses and no second Buckley × Dinan marriage.
Film 05004/02, viewer page 5, first entry of the left page (late April 1828, between the entries of 23 April on page 4 and "May 1st"): "[Marriage?] Buckley, of Dan[ie]l & Honora Dinana. Jer[emiah] Corkery & Cath[arine] Barrett [sponsors]". The first word, which sits in the left margin, reads "Marriage"; as a forename it makes no sense, and the word could be a misread name (for example Mariane or Margaret) or a priest's note. The entry is a baptism entry (child, parents, two sponsors), not a marriage note.
Translation
Daniel Buckley and Honora Dinan married in Donaghmore in about January 1825 (probably 6 January), with Pat Dinan and Darby Buckley present. The "Marriage" note on film 05004/02 pages 4 and 5 is not a marriage record: it is the first word of a baptism entry of late April 1828 to Daniel Buckley and Honora Dinan, sponsors Jeremiah Corkery and Catherine Barrett. This is the "unnamed child, April 1828" of Chapter 11.
Notes
The day, 6 January 1825: PROBABLE at best (inferred from the rows around it; the margin is cut off). The April 1828 baptism to the couple: PROVEN for the register's content (parents, sponsors); the child's first name: not legible, and "Marriage" is an unreliable reading.
Conflicts noted: Chapter 11 (Next-Steps HA1.2b) treats the film 05004/02 "Marriage" note as unmatched and the April 1828 child as unnamed; this pass shows the two are the same entry, so there is no second record. The child's first name stays open. Joanna (March 1826) fits a first child after a January 1825 marriage with a gap; no other child between 1825 and 1826 was looked for here.
