L'anno milleottocento sessantadue [doubtful: sessantadue], il dì nove di novembre, alle ore quindici [doubtful], avanti di noi Gaetano Abignente [Sindaco], ufficiale dello stato civile di Sarno, Provincia di Principato Citeriore, è comparso Raffaele Squitieri, figlio di Alessandro, di anni ventisei [doubtful], di professione muratore, domiciliato in Sarno strada Terravecchia [doubtful], il quale ci ha presentato un maschio [...] ed ha dichiarato che lo stesso è nato da Grazia Orza sua moglie, di anni venti [doubtful], domiciliata con esso, [...] nel giorno nove del suddetto mese, alle ore dieci, nella casa di sua abitazione [...] la stessa inoltre ha dichiarato di dare al neonato il nome di Alessandro.

English translation

No. 430. In the year 1862 [doubtful], on the 9th of November, at 15:00 [doubtful], before us, Gaetano Abignente, mayor and civil registrar of Sarno, province of Principato Citeriore, appeared Raffaele Squitieri, son of Alessandro, aged 26 [doubtful], a mason, living in Sarno, strada Terravecchia [doubtful], who presented a male child and declared that he was born of Grazia Orza, his wife, aged 20 [doubtful], living with him, on the 9th of the same month at 10:00, in their house; and he gave the child the name Alessandro.

Margin: the parish priest of San Matteo returned the notice in December [day doubtful] that the child Alessandro Squitieri was baptized on the 9th [doubtful].
