Rows 80 to 82 (page 24 foot, read through the control bar): "Squil[lante?] Luisa" (Michele and Maria Domenica [?]), "Squil[lante?] Rosa" (Carmine [?] and Maria [?]), "Squil[lante?] Domenico" (Sabato [?] and Luisa [Aprea?]); the first four letters read "Squi", the fifth is not clear, and the name is probably Squillante. Not counted as Squitieri.

The index also holds many "Squillante" and "Sirica" rows; they are different surnames and are not listed.

Translation

The 1862 Sarno birth index lists eighteen Squitieri births (row 17 not seen). Only one, Alessandro (row 78, act 430), names Raffaele and Grazia Orza as parents. A second Raffaele fathered Andrea (row 13, born 16 February 1862, mother Maria Esposito), so a bare "Raffaele Squitieri" in the 1862 Sarno records is not by itself the father of Alessandro. A Raffaele Squitieri was also born on 17 January 1862 (row 8, son of Luigi). Alessandro's index row says only "same month and year" for the day, so the index alone gives November 1862; the day comes from the act itself (9 November 1862, act 430, already read in SQ2.2a).

Notes

No other 1862 birth to this couple: negative within the S index only (row 17 not seen; a child indexed under a misspelling, such as "Squitiere" or "Squitieri" under a different initial, would not be seen).

Conflicts noted: None with the act. Not a conflict, but a same-name risk: row 13 (Andrea, father Raffaele, mother Maria Esposito) shows a second Squitieri father named Raffaele in Sarno in 1862; the mother's name (Grazia Orza against Maria Esposito) separates the two couples.
