English translation
On 2 June 1739 Hans Bernhard [Schmid], son of Hans Jerg Schmid[en?], and Anna Barbara, daughter of Johann Jacob Widmann, were married at Ehningen. Two birth notes, both Ehningen: 24 August 1715 and 16 February 1717 (presumably the groom's and the bride's, in that order; which belongs to whom was not read).
Notes. The first screen reading gave 28 August 1715 for the first birth note; the high-zoom reading, 24 August, governs. Bild 1-6 were the target; Bild 3, 5 and 6 were paged past, not read entry by entry. Grade: PROVEN as a record that Hans Bernhard Schmid married Anna Barbara Widmann at Ehningen on 2 June 1739; PROBABLE that this Hans Bernhard is the father of Johann Andreas (born 27 November 1757; same names, same place).
Conventions: [ ] editorial addition; [?] uncertain reading; [..] illegible or outside the crop; spelling and capitals follow the register; a reading from screen resolution is a draft until checked on the original.
