English translation
Johann Friedrich Weiss, born Ochsenburg 19 July 1782, died 29 August 1830, married (I) 19 Sept 1805 Christiana [Hillbronner], who died 18 Oct 1809, and (II) 15 May 1810 Margaretha [Schüle] of [Oberriexingen], who died 27 April 1863. Thirteen children, five of them surviving to adulthood (Carl Christoph, Jacob Friedrich, Johann, Margaretha, Jacob). Johann (b. 22 May 1825) is no. 10. His parents are Johann Friedrich Weiss and Margaretha.
Notes
Johann Weiss's parents. Gives both marriages at Ochsenburg (19 September 1805, 15 May 1810), three deaths and thirteen children. The mother is Rosina Margaretha Gugler (with the 1830 death entry, PROVEN); the father is "alleged," a journeyman carpenter from elsewhere in Württemberg, which points to a birth outside marriage (POSSIBLE; Jacob (born 1830) "1854 nach [Nordamerika] gezogen" [doubtful] fits Jacob Wise.
