Transcriber’s notes

Identification: born 16 January 1847, son of Frederick Bauer and “Mrs. Rau”. This is Fredericka Bauer Wesemann’s brother Frederick, age 13 in the 1860 census household of Frederick and Christiana Bauer.

The mother’s maiden name is given only as “Mrs. Rau”, consistent with Christina Magdalena Rau. The informant, Frederick H. Bauer of the Morris Building, is probably a son; the certificate does not state the relationship.

The former residence and the physician’s name are partly illegible.

Grade: PRIMARY for the death; birth and parentage informant-supplied.
