"I, FREDERICKA WESEMANN, now residing at No. 2304 East Firth street, in the City of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania, widow … All my properties, exclusive of household goods, I desire to have sold after my decease, and the proceeds thereof divided equally among my four children, as follows: To my son William Wesemann … one fourth … To my son George Wesemann … one fourth … To my daughter Emma Brosius … one fourth … To my daughter Sophia Detwiler … one fourth of the proceeds of my said properties. And I also give, bequeath and devise all my household goods, furniture and personal goods of whatsoever nature, to my daughter Sophia Detwiler, her heirs and assigns forever, for her faithfulness to me for so many years. I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my son-in-law, Edwin H. Detwiler, to be sole executor … first day of June One thousand nine hundred and seven." Signature: first name read as Friederike [doubtful].

Notes

Made seventeen days before her death (18 June 1907, Chapter 4). It names the four children then living; the fifth, Mathilda, had died in 1873 (Chapter 4): no conflict with "five children". 2304 Firth Street is also George W.'s address in 1901 (F162).
