Plain reading

Anna M. Fechter, widow of Charles Fechter, born 5 October 1868 in Pennsylvania to Nicholas Boentgen and Louise Seeger, died at 93 on 6 June 1962 at Fair Acres Farm, Middletown Township, Delaware County; buried at Northwood Cemetery, Philadelphia, 9 June 1962; informant Carl W. Fechter (son, probably; not stated).

Notes

STATED for her parents, Nicholas Boentgen and Louise Seeger (informant Carl W. Fechter). PROBABLE that she is Anna M. Boentgen who married Fechter in 1889 (license 29282): the name pair and spouse Charles Fechter fit, and the father Nicholas Boentgen is the 1860–1880 Philadelphia head of household (PW5.11, PW5.12). That places her in Nicholas Boentgen's family; she is a sister of William A. Boentgen (1866–1899), the first husband of Emma Caroline Wesemann, if William A. is Nicholas's son (not yet proven; the 1870 household read in PW5.11 is the test).

Conflicts noted: (1) Her mother's name "Louise Seeger"; PW5.11 reads the 1870 household for the wife's name (compare there; this entry is not compared further here). (2) Birth 5 October 1868 against the 1870 census age (compare in PW5.11).
