Sophia B. Starkweather, widow of Edwin M. Starkweather, born 22 February 1892 in Pennsylvania, died 17 July 1963 at a New Brighton hospital of malnutrition due to Parkinson's disease; buried at Beaver Cemetery 19 July. Her parents are given as "Unknown."

Notes

The index adds "[Sophia B Wesemann Starkweather]" as an alternate name; the certificate itself does not say Wesemann. Identity as Sophia (Boentgen) Starkweather (Chapter 4; Find a Grave memorial 103852056: 21 Feb 1892, d. 17 Jul 1963, Beaver Cemetery) is PROBABLE: date of death, spouse, burial place and the 1892 birth agree; birth day 22 against 21 February.

Conflicts noted: (1) Birth day: certificate 22 February 1892; Find a Grave 21 February 1892 (Prior Research [59]). (2) Middle initial "B." (certificate) against "V." (Emma Brosius's certificate, N4.5, where the informant signs "Sophia V. Starkweather"); Prior Research gives "Sophia V." (Chapter 4). Both given as written.
