No. 4. Linse, 26 January [1769]. Christoph Brand and Anne Catharina Voges [had] a daughter [baptized] (born 21 January at 10 in the evening). Godparents: 1) Johann Heinrich Wasmann; 2) Johann Jürgen Brand, the child's paternal uncle; 3) the wife of Caspar Hansters[?], these three of Linse; 4) the wife of Johann Meyer of Dielmissen. She was named Marie Caroline.

Notes

'patruus infantis' (the child's father's brother) makes Johann Jürgen Brand a brother of Christoph Brand. He married in 1766 as 'Frant Brands filius' (390646, Bild 61), which makes Franz Brand Christoph's father (probable). The word 'patruus' needs a person's check.

The Dielmissen godmother agrees with 'aus Dielmissen' in 1764 and 1775.
