Born 28 December [1874], 10 a.m.; baptized 17 January 1875. Daughter: Luise Friederike Wilhelmine. Godmothers: (1) Luise Wilhelmine Justine née [Schilla?], wife of the Großköther Heinrich Friedrich Konrad F[…]; (2) Anna Marie Magdalene née [Kniehase?], widow of the Halbmeier[?] Heinrich [?]; (3) Luise née [Krone?], widow of the Großköther Christian K[och?]. All of Halle.
Notes
First read: the trade as "Uhrmacher[?]" and the mother's surname as "J[…]". Both are corrected by the couple's 1870 marriage (Halle 390653, Bild 37, 1870 no. 1): he was a Schuhmacher, born at Halle 9 February 1840, son of the Halle master shoemaker Wilhelm Waßmann; she was Karoline Friederike Luise Gar[b]e of Hunzen, born 3 May 1843. Re-read the trade word and the surname on this image as Schuhmacher and Garbe.
