Notes
None names a mill or the Thran: Keuneke is not the clerk's spelling of the Thran miller Deneke (the 1778 mother is née Deneken in a Keuneke household). The 1769 father is the shepherd who married in 1765 (PROBABLE); the 1771 and 1778 fathers one man and the mothers one woman (PROBABLE). The index row at p. 87 (Bild 46) holds no Keuneke (nearest "Kleve"); the two Keuneke entries of 1773 (Daniel Keuneke as sponsor, Bild 41 no. 5 and Bild 43 no. 21) are not indexed. The Deneken wife as kin of the Thran miller: POSSIBLE. Grade: STATED (surname forms and the 1778 trade word partly PROBABLE).
