Translation (English)
No. 10. Linse, 23 February [1770]. Christoph Wa[r?]eke and Ilse Marie Brand [had] a daughter [baptized], born six weeks after the marriage (on 21 February). Godparents: Christoph Kick, Johann Friedrich Dempewolf, Charlotte Settemeier, Charlotte Schrader, these three of Linse. Name: Johanne Sophie Charlotte.
Notes
- The father's surname is unclear at screen size; the marriage of 15 January 1770 (390646, Bild 75) names the couple as Jo. Christoph Warneke of Hoke and Ilse Marie Brand, daughter of 'Frant Brand, Halbmeyer' at Linse. So Warneke.
- Ilse Marie Brand is then a daughter of Franz Brand and a sister of Christoph Brand (probable); she was confirmed in 1745 and stood for Christoph's first child in 1764.
- Grade: Stated (draft read); Warneke from the marriage entry.
