Am 23ten Oct. des Morgens um 3 Uhr kam Caroline Louise Brandt geb. Wesemann, [des weiland hiesigen Bürgers und Lohgerbermeisters Friedrich Wilhelm Brandt hinterlassene Wittwe(?)], mit einem unehelichen Sohne nieder, und bekannt auf den Müllergesellen Heinrich Rittmeyer aus Eisen Amts Aerzen. Das Kind wurde am 1ten Nov. getauft und genannt Johann Ernst Friedrich. Gevatter: der hiesige Müller Johann Ernst Friedrich Seebaum.

On 23 October at 3 in the morning Caroline Louise Brandt née Wesemann, [surviving widow of the late burgher and master tanner Friedrich Wilhelm Brandt of this place (?)], gave birth to an illegitimate son and named as father the journeyman miller Heinrich Rittmeyer from Eisen [place reading uncertain], Amt Aerzen. The child was baptized on 1 November and named Johann Ernst Friedrich. Godfather: the miller Johann Ernst Friedrich Seebaum of this place.

No age for the mother. The godfather married her in 1823.
