English translation: 44. On the 23rd of October, at 3 in the morning, Caroline Louise Brandt, née Wesemann, widow of the late local citizen and master linen-weaver Heinrich Wilhelm Brandt, gave birth to an illegitimate son, and named as the child's father the local miller's journeyman Heinrich Rittmeyer, of [Amt Arzen?]. The child was baptized on the 1st of November and named: Johann Ernst Friedrich. Godfather: the local miller Johann Ernst Steinbrück[?].
Note: confirms the draft closely; birth date (23 Oct, not just the baptism date) and Rittmeyer's place of origin, read here as "aus Amts Arzen," are added detail beyond the draft's transcription.

Notes
The clearest-written of the five Wesemann entries in this register. The birth date and Rittmeyer's place of origin are both legible here and were absent from the earlier draft.

On 23 October at 3 in the morning Caroline Louise Brandt née Wesemann, surviving widow of the late local burgher and master tanner Friedrich Wilhelm Brandt, gave birth to an illegitimate son and named as the father the journeyman miller Heinrich Rittmeyer of [Eißen?], Amt Aerzen. Notes
Bild 29 of 335, left page, 1818 no. 44; four lines read at zoom, hand clear. "Bürgers und Lohgerbermeisters" and "nachgelassene Wittwe" are clear. This overrides the earlier reading "Leinenwebermeisters Heinrich Wilhelm Brandt" in the first version above: the trade and forename agree with the 1814 burial (Lohgerbermeister) and the 1807 marriage (Friedrich Wilhelm), so they are PROVEN. Rittmeyer's place word (4 or 5 letters) is not resolved. The 13 October block for this entry is merged below. Grade: STATED.
