English translation: 18. On the 22nd of May at 4 in the morning, Caroline Louise Brandt, née Wesemann, widow of the late local citizen and master linen-weaver Heinrich Wilhelm Brandt, gave birth to an illegitimate daughter, naming as the father the local miller Johann Ernst Friedrich Seebaum. The child was baptized on the 5th of June and named: Hanne Louise Caroline. Godmother was the maiden Johanne Ernestine [surname unclear], daughter of the local surgeon (Wundarzt) Heinrich [surname unclear].

Seebaum is called "der hiesige Müller" (the local miller) here, more specific than the draft's "local resident." The godmother's father is described as a Wundarzt (surgeon), not given in the draft. The godmother's and her father's surname is a best-effort reading, marked [?].*

Landeskirchliches Archiv der Evang.-luth. Landeskirche Hannovers, Kirchenkreis Bodenwerder, Bodenwerder, Kirchenbuch 1814-1842, Bild 36 (archion.de). Archion register 390580.

Only the entry involving the Wesemann/Wasmann surname is included below. Uncertain readings are marked (?). Transcription carried forward from the project's review of register 390580; not re-read for this file.

Notes

> The child's name reads Hanne Louise Caroline, matching this project's existing record for her exactly; an earlier draft gave Hanne Caroline. > > Seebaum is styled der hiesige Müller — the local miller — here, four years before the twins of Bild 63, where he appears as Müllerknecht at the same mill.
