ANNO 1751. d. 10ten [or 16ten] Febr. Hinrich Wilhelm Sporleders, Georg Ludewig getauft.
Translation (English)
In the year 1751. On the 10th [or 16th] of February, Georg Ludewig, [son] of Hinrich Wilhelm Sporleder, was baptized.
Notes
Clear hand; the register gives father and child only (no mother, sponsors or holding). PROBABLE that the child is George's great-grandfather Georg Ludewig Sporleder of Esperde, son of the late Vollmeyer Wilhelm Sporleder, who married Ilse Maria Sagebiel at Linse in 1778. The 1803 burial age gives a birth about 26 December 1750: six to seven weeks before this baptism (equal-tier conflict; B4.1a-5). Grade: STATED.
Re-read 20 October 2026 (B4.1a-5; 10192026 Findings): at the larger zoom the day reads "10ter Febr." (a round 0): 10 February 1751, PROBABLE, 16 not wholly excluded. The entry above, the last of 1750 (25 December 1750), is "Hinrich Wilhelm Göhmann, Ilse Christine Louise gt.": no Sporleder in December 1750.
