English
30\. Linse, on 13 November, to Jo. Heinrich Wäsemann [Wesemann], the middle-miller, and Christine Kampen of [Ohnsen(?)], a son was born (born 10 November, 12–1 a.m.). Godparents: 1) the [district administrator(?)] von Duckhagen, Conrad Ludolph Stumpf, 2) Jo. Heinrich Sagebiel, of Linse. Name: Ernst Heinrich. [The register's own death-cross mark, †, appears beside this entry.]
Note: this is almost certainly the same Ernst Heinrich, son of the miller Joh. Heinrich Wasemann, whose death of smallpox at age 2 years 23 weeks is recorded in this same register's burial section (Bild 250, Entry 7) — consistent with a birth in November 1780 and death in April 1783.

Halle, 13 November [baptized]. A son of Johann Heinrich Wäßemann, [occupation — possibly a watchman or leaseholder, hard to pin down], and Christine Kampen of [place unclear]. Born 10 November between 12 and 1 o'clock midday. Godparents: 1) the estate administrator von Buchhagen; Consul Ludolph Rumpf; 2) Johann Heinrich [surname unclear], unmarried.
Named: Ernst Heinrich. [The cross mark likely indicates the child later died — that's the standard use of a dagger/cross symbol in church registers, marking a death recorded elsewhere in the book.]
What this confirms: Johann Heinrich Wäßemann and Christine Kampen now have two documented children — George Ludewig (entry 26, born 23 June) and Ernst Heinrich (entry 30, born 10 November), so within the same year or close to it given the entry numbering. Same godparent circle both times (von Buchhagen, Ludolph Rumpf/Stumpf), which is a strong internal consistency check — this is genuinely one family, not two different people with similar names.
