No. 109. On 11 November 1860 at 16:00 [doubtful], before Gaetano Abignente [doubtful], mayor and civil registrar of Sarno, there appeared in the town hall Raffaele Squitieri, of full age, 24, born in this commune, a mason, living in Vico Chiovitiello [doubtful], son of Alessandro Squitieri, a farmer [doubtful], living with his son, and of Antonia Sammartino, living with her husband;
and Maria Grazia Orza, a minor, 18, born in this commune, living in Contrada Binavelula [doubtful], daughter of the late Aniello Orza, a mason, and of Rosa Annunziata, living with her daughter.
Margin: the parish priest of San Matteo Apostolo returned one copy of the promise, certifying that the church marriage took place on the 17th [doubtful] of November. The groom's parents, the bride's grandfather and the bride's mother could not write.
Notes. Chapter 10 had the act located and cited [Chapter 10, 7], [167], [168], and from the index named the bride's parents as "Aniello Orzo and Rosa Annunziata" [Chapter 10, 4]. The index forename of Chapter 10 stands; "Camillo" was a misreading (archive, Deprecated facts). His death act was filed with the promise. The bride's grandfather ("l'avo della sposa") was present: the processetto (SQ3.1c) should name him.
