Translation (English)

27 [November 1749]. Master Johann Burchard Dempewolf, [wool-spinner?] at Willershausen, surviving lawful son of the late Johann Caspar Dempewolff, formerly water miller at Amelungsborn monastery, and Maiden Sophia Margaretha Anselm, lawful daughter of Master Johann Henrich Anselm, citizen, brewer and small-smith here.

Notes

The surname and the forename Burchard are clear; the groom's trade word is doubtful; "Dempwolf" in the first line is a short form of the "Dempewolff" of the second. Amelungsborn (Amt Wickensen, Braunschweig) lies beside Linse; the Linse millers Burchard Rudolph Dempewulff (1761) and Franz Conrad Dempewolff (1771–1774) are POSSIBLE kin (F318; tested by L2.2 at Negenborn 369637). Grade: STATED.
