Translation (English)

The Wasman households of Halle parish in the baptisms: the Halle tailors and smith, the Dohnsen shepherds and Kötner, and from 1690 the tailor Christoph Wasman at Linse (at Halle in 1687). In 1665 a Halle woman is "Barbara, wife of Hans Meyer otherwise called Wasman." On 12 March 1672 the shepherd near Halle at Dohnsen is written "Ernst Wesemann" (the vowel and the forename doubtful): a daughter born on the 8th about noon, the father away.

Notes

The 1672 reading is POSSIBLE as "Wesemann": the Kurrent e and a are close in this hand and the Dohnsen shepherd Henrich Wasman is on the same pages. A Halle-parish family a century before the miller, closed as his kin (D8); for the surname chapter (13) and Appendix C. Grade: STATED for the lines as read (screen drafts).
