Linse, [24?] March, died the miller Wesemann's [wife] Louise Wilhelmine Bergmüller, born at Bodenwerder in the parsonage, aged 32 years 1 month.

Notes

The husband's forenames are not written. "im Pfarrhause" is confirmed. Her baptism, 8 February 1768 at Bodenwerder (born 7 February), gives 32 years 1 month 17 days on 24 March and 32 years 0 months 25 days on 4 March. Grade: STATED for the words named; the day digit POSSIBLE.

Transcription (German)

10\) Linse d. 4ten März starb des Müllers Wesemanns Dienstmagd, Louise Wilhelmine Bergmüller, gebürtig aus Bodenwerder, am Schlagflusse, alt 32 Jahr 1 Monat.

Translation (English)

Linse, 4 March 1800: died the miller Wesemann's maidservant, Louise Wilhelmine Bergmüller, born at Bodenwerder, of a stroke, aged 32 years 1 month.

Notes

The word after "Wesemanns" is Dienstmagd: d-i(dot)-e-n, the long s descending, t, m-a-g, and the final Kurrent d. It replaces "Frau" (all earlier versions) and "Braut" (a passing reading the same evening). "am Schlagflusse" replaces "im Pfarrhause" and "an [Schwindsucht(?)]". The day is 4 March (not [24?]). She was a servant in the old miller's household; there was no second married miller Wesemann at Linse (Decided, Paul, 14 October 2026). Grade: STATED for the date, name, birthplace, cause and age; Dienstmagd PROBABLE on the crop, accepted by Paul.
