Translation (English)
16 January [1721]: Johan Heinrich Sagebiel of Linse, twins, a son and a daughter. For the little son the sponsors are master Johan Knill, the child's grandfather, and the wife of the farmer Heinrich Schröder, both of Linse. Name: Johan Heinrich [a later note: "obiit," died]. For the daughter the sponsors are the wife of Gerd Knill, the young miller at Linse, and Sabiel, the child's father's brother. Name: Dorothea Elisabeth.
Notes
Johan Knill is the maternal grandfather (the father is a Sagebiel), so the mother is a Knüll daughter, as the marriage of 1715/16 says (D900). The father's brother is a Sabiel (Sagebiel) of unnamed forename. The viewer lag put the end of Bild 72 at 17 January 1721; the entry is cited at Bild 73 as read. No other child of the couple is found at Halle from October 1716 to March 1725. Grade: STATED; the couple PROVEN with D900.
