Transcription: 25[?]/ Linse d. 20ten Julius ist Johann Christoph Waßmann eine Tochter geboren. Die Mutter Henriette Christine Meyer alt 38 Jahr. Gevattern: Johann Heinrich Waßmann, Gust Heinrich Eickhoff, Ilse Marie Sporleder } aus Linse. get. d. 22ten ejusd. Nom: Johanne Marie Christine.

Translation: Linse, 20 July 1795: a daughter born to Johann Christoph Waßmann; mother Henriette Christine Meyer, aged 38. Godparents: Johann Heinrich Waßmann, Gust Heinrich Eickhoff and Ilse Marie Sporleder, all of Linse. Baptized 22 July. Named Johanne Marie Christine.

What changed: Adds the child's name and the baptism date. The godfather is plain "Johann Heinrich Waßmann" with no note on his mother; the Source Documents commentary's "mother née Wäsemann" comes from the withdrawn 1786 reading and has no basis in this entry.

Linse, 20th of July, a daughter was born to Johann Christoph Wasmann. The mother, Henriette Christine Meyer, aged 38 years.

Godparents: Johann Heinrich Wasmann; Gustav Heinrich Eickhoff, of [Linse, entry 6?]; Ilse Marie Sporleder, of Linse.

Confirms the mother's full name — Henriette Christine Meyer, matching "Heriette Meyer" and "Heinriette Meier" from the two earlier entries; same person, scribe just varying the spelling as usual. Age 38 here versus 36 in the February entry — if these are the same year, that's inconsistent, but more likely this July entry is a year or so later, which tracks fine as a third child.

Johann Heinrich Wasmann standing as godparent here is the same man the earlier entry (Marie Louise, the "penet." Sunday one) specifically flagged as having a mother born a Wäsemann. So this godparent slot is being filled by family — very plausibly Johann Christoph's own brother, uncle, or cousin, given the shared surname and the fact he's specifically the one with documented Wäsemann/Wesemann maternal ancestry. That's consistent with your broader picture: the Wasmann and Wesemann names sit inside one extended family in Linse, not two unconnected ones.

Sporleder also repeats — you had a "Sporleder z. Linse" as a witness in the Wesemann miller entry (Caroline Louise, 1806-ish). Another social/family thread tying the two surnames together at Linse specifically.
