Translation (English)
On 13 [or 18?] December [1733] Frantz Henrich Brandt of Linse had a son baptized. Sponsors: Borchert Meyer [?] of Linse; also Hans Christoph Helmer of Tuchtfeld; and the wife of Johan [Knüll?]. Name: Johann [Christoph].
Notes
Doubtful: the day, the first sponsor's surname, the third sponsor's husband's surname and the second forename (read from the final stroke group). One week before the Wasmann entry of 20 December 1733 on the same spread (on file). Missed by the read of 11 October 2026. POSSIBLE only that this is Christoph Brand (died 15 December 1792 aged 60 years 6 months 3 weeks, so born about May 1732); he may be a second son who died young. Grade: STATED (screen draft); the identification POSSIBLE.
