On 19 March, Ilsa Catrina, daughter of the corporal Cristian Wasmuth, was baptized. Godparents: the wife of Master [unread] and the wife of Henrie Sandroth.
Notes
Probably the mother of the 1739 child (D297): same forenames, same parish, a plausible age (18 in 1739). The clerk writes Wasmuth here and Waßmann in 1739 for what is probably one family. The father was a soldier; no other entry for him at Hemmendorf after 1700 in the index.
