Translation (English)
[1750:] On the [8th?] of February the son of the soldier Johann Ernst Wesemann was born in the night, baptized and given the name Hans Henrich; sponsor: Hans Henrich Mönch's wife … the mother is Anne Marie Kautenstrauch.
Notes
The surname in 1750 is clear (a legible Latin-hand W-e-s-e-m-a-n-s). A Wesemann soldier's household at Wulften a generation after the miller's birth; Hans Henrich, born 1750, cannot be the miller (born about 1736). The forename Ernst (rule O4; here after 1746). The couple's marriage and the soldier's regiment are not looked for (W2, W5 not pursued, Decided, Paul, 22 October 2026). Index: Johann Jürgen 1751 p. 97; "Georg Heinrich 1749/50 p. 94" not matched to an entry. Grade: STATED.
