Translation (English)
No. 7. Linse, 9 February [1766]. Jo. Hennig Voges and Catharina Elisabeth Borchers[?] [had] a son [baptized] (born 5 February). Godparents: the miller Frank Conrad Dempewolf; the Mittelmüller at Linse, Herr Georg Schäfer[?]; Ernst Christian Eickhoff; the wife of Hans Harm Sagebiel of the Thran. Name: Georg Conrad. [Cross: a later death note.]
Notes
- A Voges household at Linse; the mother's surname is hard to read (Borchers? here, Dörheis? in 1768).
- The same entry names the Mittelmühle tenant Schäfer (already in the folder as the tenant extract, Bild 4 no. 7).
- Whether Hennig Voges is kin of Anne Catharina Voges is unproven (see the 1767 baptism).
- Grade: Stated (draft read).
