Translation (English)
On 12 November Barthol Brandet [Brandes] near Linse [had] a little daughter, with whom the mother miscarried; but because it was still alive, it received the [emergency] baptism from the midwife and was named Catharina.
Notes
A second daughter Catharina of the same father (after November 1655). Probably the Catharina Brand who married Hans Heinrich Wollenweber in 1696 aged 31 (F288; POSSIBLE): the register does not say whether the child lived. Grade: STATED (screen draft).
