English

Caroline Auguste Johanne, daughter of Heinrich Friedrich Christian Wisemann, Häusling (probably a linen weaver; earlier read "Gärtling und Tagelöhner"), and Anne Dorothee Henriette née Klinker, of Hessen; born 9 December 1848 at 6 a.m., baptized 25 December. Godparents: Heinrich Karl Wilhelm Wisemann, Karl August Friedrich Klinker, Johanne Elise Wilhelmine Gehre(?). The closing words probably say all are from Hessen.
