"NOTICE: My wife, Rose, having left me, I will pay no bills contracted by her. LOUIS SQUITERE, 324 West Lancaster avenue, Wayne, Pa." Spelling "Squitere" as printed. Context: the column also holds a Wayne telephone ad and a house-for-rent notice; the issue date is on the masthead above it.
"R. PIZZI, Lancaster Pike, Devon, Phone, Wayne 1636" (printed under the heading of a column of Wayne trade cards, between "Wayne Tailors, Furriers, Cleaners & Dyers, 232 E. Lancaster Ave." and "Victrolas"). No trade is printed in the part I read.
Notes. Louis Squitere of 1929 is Louis (Luigi) Anthony Squitiere, born 7 March 1907, already in Chapter 10; his wife Rose is named on his 1940 draft card. R. Pizzi of Devon is probably Raffaele (Ralph) Pizzi (F29).
