"A semi-annual convention of the Primitive Methodist Sunday schools of Schuylkill county was held at Mahanoy City to-day. Shenandoah was represented by Misses Nellie Baugh [?], Annie Timmins, Maud Parrish, Mrs. W. J. Simcock, as regular delegates, and Rev. J. Proude as ex officio representative."
Note: surnames in the printed text are partly garbled in the scan; "Baugh [?]" (re-checked 2026-09-27; initial looks more like B than H) and "Simcock" are best readings.
