Transcriber's Notes

The writer's capital D resembles an H or L (e.g. 'David Davis' could be misread as 'Havid Havis'; 'David Died' as 'Haird Hied'); transcribed as D.

'Winifred' is written with an unusual W that resembles 'Kin-'; read as Winifred.

'Glady. Eslie' transcribed as written (letters appear to be E-s-l-i-e).

Harriet's birth year: the entry reads 1885 with the last digit written over another digit (possibly 0); '- 1885' is repeated outside the ruled column.

Faint marginal arithmetic at lower right of page 1 only partly legible.
