STATED that he was married at death. His wife is not named on the certificate, so this does not itself prove Esther was his widow; the 24 June 1916 Schuylkill marriage (Chapter 9 [42]) plus "Married" four months later makes it PROBABLE that she was.

Conflicts noted: (1) The Ancestry index reads the birth as "10 Aug 1856" with alternates [10 Aug 1886]; the image reads 1886 (age 30). The index also gives the death as "11 Nov 1916"; the image reads "Nov 1st." Chapter 9 [48] (Find a Grave, memorial 254328051) has 10 August 1886 and 1 November 1916, which the image confirms. (2) Informant "Mary Ann Jones" is his mother's maiden name; Chapter 9 [48] gives his mother as Mary Ann Jones Schiele (1861–1936), so she had remarried by the time of her own death; at the 1916 death she signed under the maiden name Jones, or the clerk copied it.
