Plain reading
On 22 April 1910 a Welsh-born coal miner, William Allsop, 50, and his English-born wife Annie, 43, married 20 years, rented a house in the 5th Ward of Mahanoy City. Six of their ten children were living: Stephen, Archie, George, David, Elizabeth and Jennie (Jennie born in New Jersey). William states immigration in 1871 and Annie in 1887.
Notes
PROBABLE that this is the Mount Carmel household of 1900 (BR5.1): William, Annie, Stephen, Archibald/Archie, George and David recur with matching birthplaces; the 1900 surname "Alon_" (indexed "Honk") is therefore Allsop. POSSIBLE (unchanged) that Annie is Annie L. Parrish: no document yet names her maiden name; her English birth and an arrival in 1887 fit a girl of the Kingswinford family who was about 14 in 1881 (age 43 in 1910 gives birth about 1866/67).
Conflicts noted: William's year of immigration: 1889 (1900 sheet, BR5.1) against 1871 (1910). Annie's 1887 would put her arrival before his under the 1900 date and after it under the 1910 date. Children: 1900 "6 born, 5 living" against 1910 "10 born, 6 living"; Wilfred (b. May 1899) of the 1900 sheet does not appear in 1910 (died, or sent away). Elizabeth (9) and Jennie (7) are born after 1900. Annie's age: 34 (1900, b. Oct 1865) against 43 (1910, b. about 1866/67), both near the 14 of the 1881 England census. Stephen: b. Apr 1890 in the 1900 return, so 20 in April 1910; the sheet gives 19.
