English translation

Johann Reichert, citizen and smith [?], Protestant, widower of Katharina [..], who died 16 February 1847, born at Neuenstadt 2 March 1812, son of Johann Reichert, citizen and ropemaker at Neuenstadt, and Katharina Barbara née [Adler? Ritter?]; and Auguste Charlotte Haidle, single, born at Ochsenburg 9 November 1829, daughter of the late Johann Georg Haidle, citizen and smith here, and Katharina née Schmid (see family register p. 139). Banns at Ochsenburg on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th Sundays after Trinity; married at Ochsenburg on 16 November 1847 by Vicar Wetzel. Family register 402. Dispensation: "Dispensation from affinity [Schwägerschaft] of the first degree received, on payment of the legal fees of 31 florins 30 kreuzer; [dated?] 28 June [or January] [by the Oberamt?] ... to the joint office."

Notes. The dispensation fits the family registers: the groom married his late wife's sister. The note does not name the sister. The date of the dispensation (28 June or 28 January, no year) is not settled; June 1847 is judged more likely because January 1848 would fall after the wedding, but that is a judgment, not a reading. Grade: PROVEN for the marriage date and place (with p. 402);
