English translation
Master Johann Legat, only lawful son of Heinrich Legat, citizen and householder here, about to become a master tailor here, was blessed into marriage by the church with Katharina Dorothea Wunderlich, eldest lawful daughter of Heinrich Wunderlich, citizen and Hausgeselle at Kirchenlamitz, after three proclamations, as single persons, on [weekday] 22 September [1803]. Fee 2 groschen 8 pfennig.
Notes. PROBABLE that this is the Johann Legat, citizen and master tailor, whose eldest daughter Barbara (born 3 November 1804) bore Johann Erhard on 10 June 1826 (F62, F76; no other Johann Legat, tailor, seen); Barbara's mother then Katharina Dorothea née Wunderlich of Kirchenlamitz (PROBABLE). The 1833 sponsor "Johann Legat, only son of the master tailor" (F76) as a son of this couple born after 1805: POSSIBLE. The two copies (212108, 212105) show that 212108 parallels 212105 at least for 1803. Coverage statement for 212108 Bild 49–69 (no other Legat marriage in Bild 54–69; 1795–1798 not excluded): UNVERIFIED (not re-checked on the image). Image to save: Bild 69, right page, no. 5; optional 212105 Bild 155, entry 5.
