English translation
On 23 November, Elias Büchele, shepherd, lawful single son of Elias Büchele, citizen and shepherd at [Enz]weihingen, was married here to Johanna Filippina, lawful single daughter of Filipp Stein, forest servant (Waldknecht) and hunter of Baron von [Lippur]sch(?) at Obermönsheim, after a [princely?] dispensation of 20 November, given not only for minority but also for the omitted proclamation.
Notes. Section map of Band 1, made while locating the entry: Bild 160 Copulati 1736-37; 166 = 1749-56; 175 = 1777-78; 176 = 1778/1779; 177-179 = 1780-83; 180 = 1784 (left page), 1785 (right page); 184-186 burials of the 1660s-1679; 200 and 220 Sepulturae 1721-45; 256 Konfirmationen of the 1770s. The earlier reference "Bild 186, p. 347" was wrong (Bild 186 holds burials of 1677-1679); the page is printed 346 (Paul accepted 346, 26 October 2026). The entry names the groom as "Elias," not "Jacob Elias" (the compiled chart's name), and names no mothers; it does not say whose minority the dispensation covered. Grade: PROVEN as a record;
Conventions: [ ] editorial addition; [?] uncertain reading; [..] illegible or outside the crop; spelling and capitals follow the register; a reading from screen resolution is a draft until checked on the original.
