English translation

the household of the citizen and farmer Johann Wendel Rau (b. 25 Jan 1781, d. 17 Apr 1832) and Friederike Büchele (d. 6 Sept 1845), married 8 Nov 1807, with nine children; the seventh, Christina Magdalena, married a Bauer in 1843 and moved to Vaihingen. The note says Christine Rau died aged 70 in Philadelphia and refers to a newspaper notice ("Anzeiger" no. 57, 1891, supplement).

Re-read: her father is the late Johann Georg Büchele, citizen in Vaihingen; her mother the late Jacobina, née [illegible], from Oberriexingen. Her birth cell is crossed through and rewritten "27 Nov. 1787". The husband's mother, first read "Elisabetha Barbara, geb. [Güntner?]", reads "Catharina Barbara, geb.

Notes

Gives the Rau siblings and the note of Christine Rau's death "aet. 70 anno [1890?] in Philadelphia", citing the Anzeiger no. 57 of 1891 (the book's 16 January 1891 stands; the note's year is the alternative). The re-read withdraws "Güntner" as a misreading.
