English translation

No. 30 of 1787. [Johanna?] Margaretha, daughter of Johann Georg [Rau?], butcher here, and his wife Barbara, née [Hein], of this place; born 29 June and baptized the same day. Godparents: Mr. Johann Christoph [Langwasser?], postmaster here; Mr. Johann Christoph [Hain?], innkeeper of the Swan here; Anna Catharina, wife of Johannes [Pfleiderer?]. The cross marks a child who died.

Notes. The household of Johann Georg Rau, butcher, and Catharina Barbara Hein: PROBABLE (the trade; the mother as written at the household's baptisms of 1775–1789; the sponsors Christoph Hein and Anna Catharina, wife of Johannes Pflugfelder, who stand at the household's baptisms of 1775–1793, here read "Hain" and "Pfleiderer"). Probably the "Anna Margaretha †, b. 29 Aug 1787" of family register p. 332 (D30): same year, same day of the month, the † on both; p. 332's clerk misdated another child from a neighbouring line. The first word and the surname's first letter are to be re-read at the highest zoom (BA2.3b8a-11). Grade: STATED for the words read;

Heinin von hier"; "nat. d. 29. Jun:" and "ren: eodem" (baptized the same day); the child's first name sits at the gutter, first word cut by the binding shadow, second word reads "Margaretha." English: Anna [Johanna?] Margaretha, daughter of Johann Georg Rau, butcher here, and Barbara née Hein of here; born and baptized 29 June 1787; died young. The date is read twice now; the first word of the name stays doubtful (F341).
