[Transcriber's note: The entries in column 10 (headed "Seaport for landing") read as races or peoples (Polish, Slovak, German, Magyar, Ruthen.), not as seaports, and the final destination appears in column 11; the table follows the entries by position. The last-residence entries "Bogaros," "Siok," "Gr. Jesa," "Lukowiez," "Stobiena," "Czernim," "Suvona" and "Lypakow" are read from looped handwriting and are uncertain. Line 12 (the line in the file name) reads: Miklos Reiter, 22, male, single [marital entry read as "s."; it is partly a ditto mark], laborer (ditto), able to read and write (yes / yes), Hungarian (ditto of line 2), last residence ditto of line 11 ("R. Szt. Peter"), race German, destination Philadelphia, Pa. (ditto), ticket no, passage paid by ditto (self) [the ditto on this line refers to the "self" of line 2], money [read as \$26], joining acquaintance Anna Schmid, Philadelphia, Pa.]
[Transcriber's note: Margin and overlay notes: pencil "Left in St [?]" beside line 5 and "3 years" in column 15 beside line 7; a pencil tally at the right of lines 9-14 reading "germ 4," "Mag. 1," "Pole 11," "Ruth. 1," "Slov. 5," with a total "30" and a check mark; a large flourish of writing in the right margin near lines 26-29 and below line 30 is not legible; a circular stamp appears in the right margin near lines 27-29. Lines 28 and 29 carry a large "X" through the line number, and a pencil note in the left margin beside line 26 is not legible.]
